    Bowling has grown into one of the most popular sports offered in our program. The State Bowling Tournament, held annually in late fall, brings together hundreds of athletes and Unified partners from across the state for two days of fun and competition in Indianapolis.

Winter Games

Hundreds of Special Olympics athletes from across Indiana come together at Perfect North Slopes for three days of wintertime fun and competition during Winter Games.

This 44th annual event renews Special Olympics Indiana’s commitment to offer sports training and competition opportunities year-round. Perfect North Slopes, located in southeast Indiana, is an ideal location to hold the combined event.

The 2025 event includes trials and competition in three winter sports: alpine skiing, snowboarding and snowshoeing. Additionally, athletes and their families can participate in games, activities and more at Winter Fest, held at Higher Ground Conference & Retreat Center.
