Special Olympics Indiana provides year-round sports training and athletic competition in over 20 Olympic-type sports for 19,000 athletes with intellectual disabilities. Athletes compete at various levels to match their abilities and interests. These activities enable athletes to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing their gifts, skills, and friendships.

Community Sports Programs
County Programs are our community’s local programming. Our County Programs are available to all eligible athletes over the age of eight and residing within the designated boundaries. Our County Programs offer year-round activities, including sports training and competitions, available to all eligible athletes.

Fall Games
Throughout the fall, state tournaments are held at multiple locations in eight traditional and Unified sports: cornhole, distance run and walk, flag football, golf, equestrian, soccer, softball and unified volleyball.
