2024 Unified Bocce

Unified Bocce

Special Olympics Indiana is proud to host the 8th annual Champions Together Unified Bocce State Tournament.

Date: Saturday September 28, 2024

Location: Carmel High School – Hartman Field

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

  • 11:00 AM: Teams Arrive & Practice
  • 11:30 AM: Coaches Meeting
  • 11:45 AM: Opening Ceremony
  • 12:00 PM: Unified Bocce State Tournament Competition
  • 2:45 PM: High School and Open Division Championships
  • 3:30 PM: Awards

TOURNAMENT FORMAT

Tournament format has three 4-person coed teams. Each team must consist of 2 Athletes and 2 Unified partners with at least 1 team member representing each gender.

  • The game winner is the first team to 12 points, or the team with the highest score if the 25-minute time limit runs out.
  • The schools will be randomly drawn into bracket play.
  • The tournament bracket is single elimination with consolations rounds. Consolation rounds will be played to determine all places – first through last.
  • Schools finishing first or second will earn a team trophy and individuals will earn medals. Individuals on third place team earn medals & fourth through last place teams earn ribbons.
