Thank you for being a part of the 2021 Plane Pull Challenge!
That’s a wrap on the 2021 Plane Pull Challenge! Thanks to all who sponsored, donated, or participated in the event for helping us to raise a preliminary total of more than $126,000 in support of Special Olympics Indiana’s year-round programs and events.
As always, this year’s Plane Pull Challenge was crucial to supporting or work to end discrimination and empower people with intellectual disabilities, but it was especially meaningful as we came together on the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 terror attacks and paid tribute to the victims and survivors by celebrating the spirit of community and public service that defined our nation’s response. And all 18,000 Special Olympics athletes across Indiana want you to know how much your support means to them!
Special thanks to emcee Greg Browning from WJJK, the new members of Team Indiana who helped to inspire the crowd during our Halftime Ceremonies, the men and women of the Indiana Law Enforcement Torch Run, and all our outstanding volunteers from across the state. We hope to see you all again next year!
