Mallory Kemper Inducted into Muncie Bowling Hall of Fame

Delaware County athlete Mallory Kemper recently was inducted into the Muncie USBC Bowling Association Hall of Fame.

Kemper began bowling in youth leagues at age 8, competing with both Special Olympics Indiana and later with the Delta High School team.

She participated in the 2023 Special Olympics North America Unified National Bowling Championship in Reno, Nev., earning two gold medals. She returned to that event in 2024 in Las Vegas, this time earning silver and bronze.

Bowling provides an opportunity to enjoy feelings of accomplishment for Kemper as she strives to improve not just her score but her self-esteem as well.

“It was awesome,” Kemper said. “I am proud and grateful that they picked me. I have enjoyed doing bowling and the Special Olympics.”

In her community, Kemper is a funeral service associate at The Meeks Mortuary, where she was named the 2023 Hillcroft Employee of the Year.
