High School Film Project 2019-2020
Stories educate. Stories inspire. Stories unite.
Submit to Special Olympics Indiana’s 2nd Annual High School Film Project and help us to capture and share impactful stories about the transformative power of Special Olympics and Champions Together and to shine a light on the thousands of people across Indiana who are a part of our movement.
The vision of Special Olympics is that sport will open hearts and minds toward people with intellectual disabilities and create inclusive communities across the state and throughout the world.
Within our schools, Champions Together and related programs are uniting students from diverse backgrounds, creating lasting friendships, and providing a safe environment for all to achieve their maximum potential. This is your chance to show the world how the students, teachers, and administrators in your school have come together as a school community and embraced the #InclusionRevolution!
This project is open to all high school students and offers financial support designed to offset a portion of any production costs. A limited number of stipends are available and all participants must apply by December 1, 2019.
Participants may also consider submitting to film festivals offering monetary prizes, including the Indy Shorts International Film Festival presented by Heartland International Film, though submission does not guarantee entry into that program. (*Special Olympics Indiana’s High School Film Project is not affiliated with or endorsed by The Heartland International Film Festival.)
