Special Olympics Indiana is hosting the 2018 Eunice Kennedy Shriver Games (EKS Games) in September. It is a multi-weekend event with seven Olympic-type sports state competitions taking place.
Weekend one takes place at Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory School in Indianapolis on Sunday, September 9. The state sport competitions include Corn Toss, Distance Run & Walk, Flag Football, and Volleyball. Also, there will be a All Star Soccer Experience for youth.
The Equestrian state competition takes place on weekend two at Hendricks County 4-H Fairgrounds and Conference Complex in Danville on September 14 and 15.
The final weekend of competition concludes with the state competitions for golf and softball on September 22. The golf tournament is held at Hickory Stick Golf Club in Greenwood while the softball tournament occurs at Midwest Sports Complex in Indianapolis.
