24th Annual Plane Pull® Challenge to Support Special Olympics Indiana is Aug. 23

Teams from across Indiana will test their strength Saturday, Aug. 23, at Indianapolis International Airport during the 24th annual Plane Pull® Challenge to benefit Special Olympics Indiana.
Participants will work together to move a Boeing 757 airplane 12 feet – all to support children and adults in Indiana with intellectual disabilities.
Registration opens at 7:30 a.m. with competition from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The Plane Pull Challenge marks Special Olympics Indiana’s largest single-day fundraising event and offers a unique opportunity for teams of up to 15 people. The fastest team in each of five divisions – corporate, public safety, high school, college and open – receives an award. Participants can earn additional prizes for raising money to support Hoosiers with intellectual disabilities.
The family-friendly event also features a festival-like atmosphere with music, food, souvenirs, games and other activities throughout the day. A highlight remains the Kids Pull, where children join forces to pull the Boeing 757 down the runway.
Spectators and media are welcome to attend, and admission is free. To participate, team members are asked to raise a minimum of $1,200 collectively.
