    Bowling has grown into one of the most popular sports offered in our program. The State Bowling Tournament, held annually in late fall, brings together hundreds of athletes and Unified partners from across the state for two days of fun and competition in Indianapolis.

2024 Area Spirit of Special Olympics Award Winners

Spirit of Special Olympics Indiana Awards are presented annually at the Special Olympics Indiana State Conference, recognizing the athletes, coaches, volunteers, families and LETR officers who have gone above and beyond in their contributions and commitment to the Special Olympics movement during the past year or more.

Area winners are invited to the State Conference, where the state SOSO winners will be announced. This year’s luncheon is Saturday, Oct. 26, at Embassy Suites Noblesville.

Special Olympics Indiana’s Board of Directors chooses each year’s state award winners from the area lists.
