Special Olympics Indiana is seeking a dynamic leader for the position of President and CEO. The President and CEO is responsible for strategic leadership, operational management, fundraising, budget/financial management, and advocacy for Special Olympics Indiana.

As the CEO, his/her primary function is to guide and direct the Program in accordance with the standards, policies and procedures set forth by Special Olympics Inc. and the Special Olympics Indiana Board of Directors. The CEO reports directly to the Special Olympics Indiana Board of Directors and Board Chair and shall maintain a close working relationship with the Chairperson.

Candidates should have a genuine passion for Special Olympics Indiana’s mission and the vision, skills, expertise and drive to lead the organization to the next level – improving athlete health, fitness and performance and expanding the engagement of the greater community to enhance the inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities. The candidate should have a strong track record of success in revenue creation in one or more non-profit organizations.

The CEO role is an exempt position and is based on the Northwest side of Indianapolis. Frequent in state and occasional out of state travel required.
