The third annual Special Olympics Indiana Charity Golf Classic presented by American Family Insurance and the Indianapolis Colts will take place on Friday, July 27, 2012, at Prairie View Golf Club in Carmel.

Any Colts player will tell you that their team’s success depends on the support of a loyal fan base. The same is true of Special Olympics athletes. They don’t focus on challenges; they are driven just like our favorite NFL stars. And they certainly don’t have a chance to succeed without the support of fans that provide the volunteer and financial resources to train and compete in their favorite sports.

Be a fan of Special Olympics Indiana and register for the Charity Golf Classic presented by the Indianapolis Colts and American Family Insurance. On Friday, July 27, start the day off with lunch and a tour of the Colts traveling museum, Colts In Motion, and get your picture taken on the Lucas Oil Harley Davidson. Don’t forget to get an autograph from the Colts Cheerleaders before you tee off!

At noon, hit the links on one of Indiana’s premiere courses, Prairie View Golf Club, in this four-person scramble event. Lunch will be sponsored by Hays and Sons. Many holes will feature contests and activities, including the opportunity to have a Special Olympics athlete sink your putt!

Once you’ve finished your 18 holes, gather back at the club house for a top-flight dinner provided by O’Charley’s and recognition of Special Olympics Indiana athletes. There will also be an auction that will feature great prizes including a Colts Game Day experience.
