About the Plane Pull Challenge
Looking for a great team-building event for your co-workers, friends or family? Join us for the 2018 Plane Pull Challenge to benefit Special Olympics Indiana, presented by FedEx Express!
Our largest single-day fundraiser, the Plane Pull Challenge offers a unique opportunity for your team of up to 20 to work together to raise important funds for Special Olympics athletes before going head to head with a Boeing FedEx 757 jetliner in an exciting game of tug of war.
Hosted each summer at the Indianapolis International Airport, this family-friendly event also features a festival-like atmosphere with live music, food, souvenirs, games and other activities throughout the day.

To participate, each team of 20 (or more) must raise at least $1,200 in pledges — that’s an average of just $60 per person! And all funds raised by the event directly benefit more than 14,000 Special Olympics athletes across Indiana.

Team captains and interested guests are encouraged to attend our annual Tip-Off event, featuring a free lunch and a short, informational program with important details about the 2018 Plane Pull Challenge and tips for using social media and other means to raise money through FirstGiving.
The luncheon will be held at Bankers Life Fieldhouse on Friday, June 22, from Noon to 1 p.m. Please complete this short survey to reserve your spot.
Pacers Sports & Entertainment Bracket Challenge
Sponsors and top teams will once again be invited to take the competition to the next level by facing off in the annual Pacers Sports & Entertainment Challenge — an exciting tournament-style fastest pull competition, where the winner is the last team standing! This thrilling pull-off will take place immediately after our Halftime Ceremonies, where special prizes and a commemorative trophy will be awarded to the champion.
