Special Olympics athlete Lindsay “Lin” Hanna, her brother Josh, and her parents, Art and Sue, have been involved with our Washington Township program since 1997, when Lin and Art began competing in golf as unified partners. In the 20 years since, the Hanna’s have been a steady presence in their local program and have made their mark on all whose paths they’ve crossed.
As the largest grass-roots fundraiser and public awareness vehicle for Special Olympics, the Law Enforcement Torch Run® (LETR) relies on officers and staff from law enforcement agencies around the world to become active in volunteering and raising money for local programs. In Indiana, Officer Chapman has distinguished himself over the past four years as one of the most dedicated and reliable supporters of the Special Olympics movement.
A longtime volunteer, coach, and Grant County Coordinator, Cody Harris tragically and unexpectedly passed away in February, leaving behind a remarkable legacy of kindness, compassion, and devotion.
