In 2010, we will be celebrating our eleventh anniversary partnering with Indy Parks at the Eagle Creek location.  We hope to break 2007's participation record of 543 Plungers.  With your help, we can achieve our goal.  The Polar Plunge is your chance to have fun, wear a costume, and get a friend involved -- you'll be Freezin' for a Reason! Participants must raise a "bear" minimum of $75 to take a daring dip into the frigid winter waters of Eagle Creek Reservoir.  If you cannot make this year's Plunge, please consider supporting this fundraising event and Special Olympics Indiana by making a donation to the Indianapolis Plunge.  It's quick, safe, and easy.

Pre-registration Day

Avoid long registration lines on the morning of the event by pre-registering for the Indianapolis Plunge.  Turn in all pledges and waiver form on February 24th and you will receive your Polar Plunge incentive gift.  All individuals going for the Top Individual Fundraiser award must turn in all pledges at pre-registration day in order to be eligible for this award.
On the day of the event, pre-registered Plungers will be able to go to an exclusive pre-registered line to pick up your wristband which is your ticket to plunge.  Also, Plungers that pre-register will get priority in the Plunge order.

How to Join the Fun
Registration:  To participate, each individual must raise at least $75 in pledges.  All funds raised by the event benefit Special Olympics Indiana.  To register yourself or your team for the 2010 Polar Plunge, click Polar Plunge registration. Online fundraising:  Create your own free, personal Polar Plunge webpage by following the step by step instructions.  Sign up today and start collecting pledges online at www.firstgiving.com/soindiana.  Each donation will automatically be added to your Polar Plunge team total.  See how you rank against the other teams!
Opening Ceremonies
The popular morning show team from Radio Now will crash the Indy Plunge to host the Opening Ceremonies.  This year's ceremonies will be entertaining for all plungers and spectators to start the 2010 Indy Plunge activities.  Come and visit your favorite on air personalities!
Allison, Miss Indiana USA, and Madeline, Miss Teen Indiana USA, will be attending the Indy Plunge as Special Guests and will be available for photos and autographs.

Get your morning started with a cup of hot chocolate and a fresh donut courtesy of Dunkin' Donuts.  Dunkin' Donuts is a proud supporter of the Law Enforcement Torch Run and the Cops on a Rooftop program coming to Indianapolis on May 7th to a Dunkin' Donuts near you

Entrance into the After Splash Bash for Plungers and event volunteers is free.  For fans and spectators, there will be a $5 admittance fee.
